Brief + Proposal
Our client wanted a design option for splitting their 900m2 block in half to show subdivision potential prior to putting it on the market. We completed Schematic Design up to DA level documentation, and produced 3D renders to show saleability of potential designs. We divided the block lengthways, giving both sites street access and long northern boundaries.
The 3 bed x 3.5 bath home features a very linear design which takes advantage of the northern aspect. The internal living spaces open fully onto the northern outdoor living space and a pool, which also wraps around to a heavily shaded alfresco area to the rear. The upper story sits towards the rear of the house, reducing the impact of the building mass on the suburban streetscape as well as providing the secondary bedrooms views onto the pool and rear balcony shading the alfresco area.
